
Sticky Sweet Chilli Beef Lettuce Cups
Ingredients
- 500 g Budd’s Grass Fed Free Range Regular or Lean Beef Mince
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1 small brown onion finely diced
- 1 red capsicum finely diced
- 3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 spring onions finely sliced
- 1 small cos lettuce leaves separated
- Fresh coriander leaves
- 1 lime cut into wedges
- Optional: sliced red chilli for extra heat
Instructions
- Heat the sesame oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.
- Add the Budd’s Grass Fed Free Range Beef Mince and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir through the diced capsicum and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring until everything is well coated and glossy.
- Remove from the heat and stir through the spring onions and sesame seeds.
- Spoon the beef mixture into crisp lettuce cups and top with fresh coriander, sliced chilli if using and a squeeze of fresh lime.
- Serve immediately.
